is a set of assessments that provides information for use by state education agencies in making licensing decisions. Virginia requires qualifying Praxis II scores for teacher licensure, with some exemptions (ie ESL does not have a Praxis II requirement). Be sure you register for the Praxis II assessment required by Virginia in your content area (See Endorsement Areas offered by EducateVA.com).
With passing scores on Praxis II you can become endorsed without further content coursework.
You will need to submit a copy of your passing Praxis II scores with your application. See the Apply link for information regarding passing scores.
