The VCCS 2008 Faculty and Administrators Leadership Academy will be held September 30 - October 3 at the Sheraton Richmond West in Richmond, Virginia. This year's program will focus the complex role of the organizational leader, building effective work teams, succession planning, and managing costs effectively. New this year will be a presidents' panel and we will be joined by Desna Wallin and George Boggs. It promises to be a wonderful time of learning, networking, and professional renewal. A comprehensive agenda will be posted soon.
As in previous years, VCCS college presidents are welcome to nominate one staff person per Virginia Community College campus. Registration materials will be available late August. Hope to see you at the VCCS Faculty and Administrators Leadership Academy.
